I, ____________________, commit to living the Lord’s standards for dress and appearance word for word as written in For the Strength of Youth until February 1st.

“Immodest clothing is any clothing that is tight*, sheer**, or revealing*** in any other manner.” – For the Strength of Youth

“Choose appropriately modest apparel when participating in sports” – For the Strength of youth

Until February 1st, I, ____________________, will avoid clothing that allows more of my body to be seen than should be. My apparel will be appropriately modest as I participate in sports. I will avoid immodest clothing.

*Tight: (of a garment) fitting tightly and showing the contours/shape of the body.

**Sheer: Sheer fabric is fabric which is made using thin thread and/or low density of knit and which results in a semi-transparent and flimsy cloth. Some fabrics become transparent when wet. See-through clothing is any garment of clothing made with lace, mesh or sheer material that allows the wearer’s body or undergarments to be seen through its fabric.

***Revealing: (of an item of clothing) Allowing more of the wearer’s body to be seen than is usual.
