Daily Reminder on Dress and Appearance: #12 out of 21

I, ____________________, commit to living the Lord’s standards for dress and appearance word for word as written in For the Strength of Youth until February 1st.

“If you are not sure what is appropriate to wear, study the words of the prophets, pray for guidance, and ask your parents of leaders for help.” – For the Strength of Youth

Two equally good options, this one:

As I, ____________________, go throughout the next three weeks, I will study the words of the prophets, pray for guidance, and ask my parents and leaders for help  with keeping the Lord’s standard of modesty.

Or this one:

As I, ____________________, go throughout the next three weeks, I will study the words of the prophets, pray for guidance, and ask righteous friends for help with keeping the Lord’s standard of modesty as needed.

“When should we pray? The Lord said, ‘Search diligently, pray always, and be believing, and all things shall work together for your good.’

“Alma said, ‘Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God.’ ” – Russle M. Nelson’s conference talk Sweet Hour of Prayer. From https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2003/04/sweet-power-of-prayer?lang=eng&query=pray
