Am I living my standards and beliefs even when no one is watching? Yes or No?
““A man’s true greatness is not in what he says he is, nor in what people say he is; [but really] in what he really is.” (Hartshorn, p. 38.) Our integrity determines what we really are.” – Personal Integrity by Joseph B. Wirthlin
“Closely associated with honesty is integrity. Integrity means thinking and doing what is right at all times, no matter what the consequences… Choose to live so that your thoughts and behavior are always in harmony with the gospel.” – For the Strength of Youth
Think over your day and try to think if you have lived with honesty and integrity. Think of at least one thing you did wrong. Pray for help to do better next time.
Today I, ____________________, will be honest with myself, others, and God at all times.
“Dishonesty harms you and harms others as well. If you lie, steal, shoplift, or cheat, you damage your spirit and your relationships with others.” – For the Strength of Youth
Today and until June 21, I, ____________________, will be strive to not be dishonest in any way.
“You and I must strive to become people of integrity and to be honest with God, honest with ourselves, and honest with other people. Integrity and honesty with God result from knowing and understanding who He is and our relationship to and kinship with Him as our Eternal Father.
“Integrity and honesty with ourselves result from knowing and understanding who we are as sons and daughters of God. And integrity and honesty with other people result from knowing and understanding they are sons and daughters of the Eternal Father and are our brothers and sisters. All unprincipled and dishonest thoughts and actions are a betrayal of God, a betrayal of self, and a betrayal of other people.” – Be Honest by David A. Bednar
